The Company
Komohana Charters is a company created from three generations of dreams and experiences. After retiring from the state Fish and Game our Grandfather returned to his true love, the sea. He went on to captain the Na Pali Queen, the very first boat ever to offer tours of the epic coastline. His dream was to own a charter boat of his own to operate with his son, sadly the operation never happened and the dream was passed on to the grandson Koa. So when the opportunity came along to own a licence we decided our young family of three (now four after welcoming our son) would do anything we could to create a company that would not only fulfill long time family dreams but the dreams of anyone wanting to experience the beauty of the island as learned through the eyes of a Hawaii native

An avid and experienced outdoors man Koa truly lives Mauka to Makai, meaning from the Mountains to the Sea. Growing up spearfishing and throwing net Koa later moved into fishing for sport as well as for commercial purposes. When he isn't out on the water you can find him training his horses or up the valley hunting goats or wild pigs..
